Current Undergraduate Students
Our undergraduate program is a four-year program culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and Atmospheric Science. Students may choose from one of five options in the meteorology and atmospheric science major: atmospheric chemistry, environmental meteorology, weather forecasting and communications, weather risk management, or the general option.
Commonwealth Campus Students
Yes, you can start your Bachelor's degree in Meteorology at a Commonwealth Campus and finish at University Park (main campus). Please follow the link below for the recommended course sequencing so that you can make a smooth transition to main campus and graduate on time in just four years.
Online Learning Students
Whether you are an amateur weather enthusiast or a weather-related industry professional, enrolling in the online Certificate of Achievement in Weather Forecasting program is a perfect way to enhance your career or degree. This online 12-credit certificate program of study will enable you to build a foundational understanding of contemporary forecasting techniques. We do not offer a four-year B.S. degree online at this time.
